Pyramid Investing blog Grand Opening!

Last several days I’ve been working on blog structure, design and functionality. I have been able to complete a few important tasks:

• The blog design has been customized to satisfy basic needs before I can begin with actual blogging. This included Pyramid Investing logo design and creation of header images. Many theme settings have been changed or set to my likes or needs of adequate functionality.
• Several static blog pages were added. For now, they are mostly under construction and they are used as a placeholder. I will be writing them in greater detail as the time goes on. The content will be timely updated. They are to provide vital information about the blog and Pyramid Investing concept to everyone and especially new visitors.
• Article categories have been established. As the articles start appearing and get categorized, you will see all used categories listed below the header image and in the right sidebar as well. I plan on categories being an important means of navigation through the blog postings.
• Several important plugins have been installed and activated to support additional blog functionality. Examples are plugins to help print or email posts, subscribe to comments, show number of page views and track statistics on blog posts.
• Sidebar now contains several widgets that help users search, navigate and learn some information about the blog and posted articles.
• RSS feed option has been established through FeedBurner. Now users and visitors can subscribe to get Pyramid Investing feed through their favorite feed reader or email. I strongly encourage everyone to subscribe to the feed as it provides for an ingenious way to stay on top of newly posted articles and acquire information with ease.
• Google AdSense was added to the bottom of the sidebar. Ads are chosen and provided by Google and should be relevant to the content of the blog. Visitors, users and subscribers are welcome to click on any or all the ads as they see fit. None of those ads are particularly endorsed or recommended by me, although I may potentially benefit if you do click.
• Blog has been registered with several search engines to enhance blog visibility and attract traffic. It is not to say that there is much to crawl at this time, but that is going to change in due course.

Considering the above mentioned tasks complete, the blog can now be considered ready for blogging! This is an announcement of its grand opening!
